Melissa Tancredi is one of Canada Soccer’s most accomplished national team athletes. A two-time Olympic medallist, she made 125 appearances for Canada’s Women’s National team in her career, including three Olympic Games and three FIFA Women’s World Cups. Known for her physicality and commitment, Melissa holds the record for the second-fastest goal scored in FIFA Women’s World Cup history in 2007 at the 37th second, and served as the Canadian captain during the team’s historic first-ever win over Germany in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Having retired at the start of 2017, Melissa has her doctorate of chiropractic medicine.
